A pet wine shop just made it possible for cat lovers never to have to drink wine alone. Today, this non-alcoholic, catnip-based wine is a treat for your furry friends, and it can be paired with your cat’s food.
Apollo Peak created wine for cats made from all-natural ingredients. Currently, their wine comes in two flavors: “Pinot Meow” and “MosCATo.” You can get both flavors in eight ‘MEOWnce’ bottles for $12 each.
Apollo Peak’s wine is made out of water, beet juice, sea salt, and organically-grown catnip. Also, it does not contain any food coloring, artificial preservatives, or alcohol, so it’s safe for cats to consume.
About three years ago, Brandon Zavala thought about creating pet wines because he noticed that pet beverages weren’t an available product. Also, Zavala observed that most cat owners love to have a glass of wine, so he thought it would be perfect to create wines for cats, as well.
Pinot Meow cat wine was the first variation of the cat wines to be released. It is a red wine made from a blend of beet and catnip. MosCATo cat wine came second, and it is a made from a blend of catnip and yellow beet.
