The building you see here looks like an old bank, but as soon as you step inside you realize this is actually something very, very different.
Cathy Calhoun purchased the entire vacant building in 1989 for $52,000 to make it her new house and worked hard to make it what it looks like today.
The Bank’s particular features, like the chandeliers and other items became part of the decor, with Cathy trying to preserve the building’s original spirit.
The house is two stories high and features a fireplace, a Jacuzzi, a big screen TV and various amenities.
It’s remarkable that this woman managed to preserve the building’s historical design, turning an old bank into a cozy home in at the same time.
