Who knew people could aim to be a professional dog-cuddler? The opportunity to be hired for the best job in the world for dog lovers was offered by MUTTS Canine Cantina, a dog-friendly restaurant, bar, and dog park in Texas. Their second branch, located in Fort Worth opened the ‘puptern’ opportunity to applicants who are 18 years old and above, and of course, with top notch dog-cuddling skills. To land this dog-lovers’ dream job, applicants were required to post a photo or video on Instagram, showing their finest puppy petting skills, and tagging @muttscantina along with the hashtag #muttspuptern. Since the day of announcement, October 30th, up until the deadline of applications, November 12th, the post garnered over 2,000 responses. Who wouldn’t want to be paid $100 per hour as a pet-cuddler anyway? Whoever will land the job will surely be the luckiest employee ever. To whoever that will be, congratulations in advance! MUTTS Canine Cantina, a dog-friendly restaurant, bar, & dog park in Texas, has just opened its second branch in Fort Worth and they are offering a job opportunity to become their first ever professional dog-cuddler. One lucky person will get to pet and play with adorable doggos and will be paid $100 per hour!

MUTTS Canine Cantina welcomes a bunch of cuddly mutts daily along with their owners. They could either treat themselves to some great food or spend some fun time over at the exclusive dog park. Their Dallas branch even carries an agility course for your dear mutts.

You can also avail memberships that grants your doggos access to the private dog park, where dogs can freely run around with fellow mutts, and the puptern will be there to ensure that playtime becomes extra enjoyable.

“In this role, the puptern will greet MUTTS members with a friendly face, while offering to play and pet with their dogs. We wanted to introduce them to MUTTS concept and have a great time while doing so, and because of this, the idea of the puptern internship was born” Kyle Noonan, co-founder of MUTTS, told The Dodo.

Since the Fort Worth branch is located near Texas Christian University, and they have first considered the college students to apply for the job.

This dog-lovers’ dream job was opened to applicants who are 18 years old and above, and they were required to post a photo or video in Instagram showing their finest puppy-petting skills, tagging along @muttscantina with the hashtag #muttspuptern.

Since October 30th, up until November 12th, which was the final day of application, the post have garnered over 2000 responses.
