We are only two days into 2017, and it’s already getting weird.
In the night between December 31 and January 1 some pranksters manage to elude the security of the iconic Hollywood sign and managed to change it to read ‘Hollyweed’.
They used two black and two white sheets to tweak the two letters that entirely changed the sign’s meaning, so it wasn’t difficult for the security to restore it back to its original look.

Officials described the pranksters’ attempt as ‘ambitious’.
Needless to say, 99% of people in LA took a picture of it.
It only took a few hours to fix it, and by 11am Los Angeles had its iconic sign back.
