Sam Alive is a NY based photographer who makes a creative use of his iPhone, in order to capture beautiful landscapes and cityscapes.
With the use of selective focus and his iPhone, Sam creates really unique landscapes revealed through his mobile device’s screen: what he basically does is keeping the iPhone and his hand in focus, blurring everything that is in the background.
The results are these really unusual pictures, where the crisp and clear subject is limited inside the iPhone screen, and the blurred colors in the background form a sort of abstract frame for the picture, completing the composition.
We’ve loved Sam’s idea. If you want to see more of his work, take a look at his Tumblr.
