Valentino is a Ragdoll cat that lives with his pet-mom Debbie. He’s a very sweet, cuddly guy and loves to follow his mom around. He’s loved and cared for, but that wasn’t always the case.

Valentino used to have a different family, but when his family decided to move, they left Valentino behind and forced him to fend for himself on the cold streets of the neighbourhood.

Through no fault of his own, according to Love Meow the poor kitty found himself both homeless and without the family he’d grown to love.

Valentino took to wandering the neighbourhood in search of food and warmth.

Luckily for the forlorn Ragdoll, his neighbours were more compassionate than his previous family.

One of his neighbours opened her home to him, offering him both shelter and food, despite the fact that her husband was allergic to cats.

She just couldn’t stand watching that poor little cat wandering around, cold and alone, without doing something.

She let Valentino stay in her garage where she made sure he had every comfort available to him.

But she knew that he couldn’t stay there forever.

This loving little cat deserved a home where he could go wherever he wanted.

Luckily, she knew that her co-worker, Debbie Harris, loves cats.

Harris has a big soft spot for cats in need and has fostered cats for over 10 years.

When approached by her co-worker, she was more than happy to give little Valentino a loving home.

Harris took Valentino to the vet to get him checked out; life on the streets can be very rough on a cat.

There, Valentino received some treatment for his sniffles, got his shots, and got some sorely needed grooming.

Now, he’s feeling right at home with his new mom and finally has the family he deserves.

He loves to cuddle and is so thankful to his new mom for taking him in.

“He is such a love bucket, a totally gentle giant. I named him Valentino since Valentine’s Day is approaching (and he’s such a lover),” Debbie said in an interview with Love Meow.

Valentino’s last family disappointed him, but now he knows that there’s still good in the world.

This sweet kitty’s days of loneliness are behind him, all thanks to his compassionate neighbour and Harris’s kind heart.
