There is a forest in Germany that is probably one of the most fairy tale-ish places in the world.
It’s the Bavarian Forest, which is located in Bavaria and runs along the Czech border. After the border, the forest continues even on the Czech side, where it is called Bohemian Forest.
The Bavarian Forest is part of the Bavarian National Park, which was established in 1970 as Germany’s first natural park.
The animal species of this region can live undisturbed, since the forest is not managed and the man doesn’t interfere with the life of the fauna. This makes this place a little heaven on Earth, where bears, owls, wolves and many more live in their untouched natural habitat.
