Sometimes things are far more complicated than they appear, like in this image of a baby in the womb made by renowned artist Serge Belo.
It looks just like an ordinary mosaic, and it actually is a mosaic, but the amazing thing is that it’s actually made of 66,000 colored rainwater cups!
It took more than 100 volunteers and 62 hours of work to complete this 3,600 square feet image, realized to raise awareness among the general public about the global clean water crisis and the consequent lack of drinkable water.
The 66,000 cups simulate the various levels of impurities found in water all over the planet, states Belo on his website.
