Today we are going to talk about UK based artist Jane Perkins and her “Plastic Classics” series.

This set of artworks is composed by some impressive recreations of famous paintings and photographs. What’s really special about Jane’s work is that she uses every kind of found object, like buttons, LEGO pieces, plastic toys, shells and basically everything else in order to recreate those iconic masterpieces.

She never changes the original color of the objects se uses, so the result is all about her talent and her impressive attention for the detail, that is what really make her artworks so recognizable.
