Here at Just Something we are really happy when we see somebody coming with a completely original idea, and this is the case of Paris-based art director David Redon, because as far as we can tell we’ve never seen anything like the project we are going to talk about today.
What he does in his series “Ads Libitum” is basically taking modern celebrities into vintage ads, using what they are most known for to promote a vintage product or movement.
David explains that started working on this project last summer, and it usually takes him one or two hours to create an ad, after the research for the ad he likes and photoshopping the celebrities into it, he sometimes slightly modifies the layout and adds a logo.
