Most dog owners love to bring their dogs wherever they go. They choose pet-friendly hotels when they go on holiday, pet-friendly restaurants when they eat out, and like to spend as much time as possible with their furry friends.
What dog owners were never allowed to do until now, was taking their dogs with them to the movie theater. We wrote ‘until now’ for a reason, since there is a new movie theater that lets dog owner bring their pets with them, and watch a movie together while sitting on soft and comfy couches.
K9 Cinemas is the name of the theater, that opened last December in Plano, Texas, and is arguably the most pet-friendly cinema in the world.
The fun part is that K9 Cinemas always screens dog-related movies, and you never know which one you’re going to see, because they announce the name of the movie a few minutes before it begins.
Tickets cost $5 per dog, $10 for kids and $15 for adults, with the latter including bottomless wine, or four servings of whiskey.
