Lukas Holas is a photographer based in Frydlant, Czech Republic.
He has a beautiful portfolio that you can see on his Behance site, but the photo series that caught our attention is his Portraits of Animals, a beautiful and intimate set of black and white portraits of wild animals.
The controlled lighting and the pure black background (he digitally edited out the original one) create a very unique atmosphere, and let you really focus on the emotional side of these photographs.
“Animals are a matter of my heart” is the only description the author wrote on Portraits of Animals‘s page, and we have to admit that this statement is respected in every single photo of this series.
