Artist Takes Magical Photos Of Finnish Winters Under The Northern Lights

Nature photographer Tiina Törmänen is like a creative modern-day Pocahontas. She shares home with aurora borealis-stunning pastel halos in the skies in Lapland, Finland. As a winter child, she used to build castles out of snow, she used to sing songs to her dog on dark nights, and she used to illumine self-dug tunnels, rooms, and doorways with a candlelight. All these wonderful stories told by her childhood memories are the same wonder expressed in her photographs. We’re grateful to have a glimpse of her dreamy, ethereal kingdom as she captures them through her camera lens. Find more of Tiina Törmänen’s work through Instagram, Facebook and also on her website.
