Yee Chong, a Malaysian artist, is using his graphic design skills to bring impossibly cute digital animals into our world.

In Chong’s artwork, foxes, kittens and even fantasy creatures interact with everyday items such as teacups, sofas and coffee makers.

Chong initially started playing around with the concept because he wanted to explore his skills.

“It was meant to be a test on my understanding of light and shadow, but people seem to like them a lot so I continued until now” he said in an interview with Bored Panda.

What started as a way to practise his skills has turned into a lucrative passion that has gained him almost 100,000 followers on Instagram.

Chong’s favourite creatures to illustrate are foxes and the cute little rascals can be seen hanging out in Chong’s hands, chewing on his stylus or interacting with other characters

All Chong’s characters are highly expressive and leave you longing for a little digital pet of your own.
