Architect Builds Translucent Home Around A Tree In A Forest In Kazakhstan

Nestled amongst a dense fir tree forest in Almaty, Kazakhstan, lies a glass tower almost completely taken out of the storybooks. Nature-lovers and architectural design enthusiasts alike will fall in love with this concept, named Tree in the House.
The project by architect Aibek Almasov marries green architecture and modern industrial design without sacrificing aesthetics, with the glass house completely encasing a fir tree at its center. It does not only incorporate the tree into the design, but literally builds the structure around it. Its four-storey height and transparent walls creates the air of transcendence and oneness with nature around it.
