Two Kittens Rescued Together During Storm Refuse To Leave Each Other’s Side

Two kittens got a rough start in life after becoming abandoned shortly after birth.

The two brothers were spotted by the side of a dumpster in Phoenix, Arizona, in the middle of a storm that was sweeping the city.

The little kittens were so young that they had not even begun to open their eyes yet, and they could fit in the palm of your hand.

Shelbi Uyehara, the founder of Jin’s Bottle Babies, came to the kittens’ rescue as soon as she got word of them, and gave them both a new shot at life.

Uyehara wasn’t made aware of the kitten existence until they’d spent at least twelve hours on their own – and in a storm, no less – so she was very worried when she rushed over to the spot where they’d been spotted.

But despite all odds, she found the pair alive and well.

The two brothers were both surprisingly healthy and active despite having spent so much time without care, and despite having had to weather a storm with only a box for shelter.

It seemed like their love for each other had kept the two brother’s spirits up and kept them from giving up.

The adorable little guys were determined to not only survive, but thrive, and they were going to succeed by sticking together.

On the way to the shelter, Uyehara noticed that the kittens seemed incredibly attached to each other.

They cuddled up to each other and kept each other safe and warm and Uyehara could tell they had a special bond.

The kittens, later named Shiro and Jones, just radiated love for each other.

In the car, she gave them both some well-needed sustenance.

The poor kittens hadn’t eaten for hours and were so young that they needed to be bottle-fed.

Despite having gone without food for so long, the brother’s were not lethargic, as one would expect.

Instead, they were full of energy and they kept this energy up even after arriving at the shelter.

Since they were so tiny and had been out in the cold for so long, the kittens were placed in an incubator to help regulate their body temperature.

At the shelter, the brother’s kept displaying their deep love for each other and kept showing proof of amazing energy, vitality and lust for life.

Even while they were still in the incubator, the little kittens were buzzing with energy, and once they’d opened their eyes and began walking, they became quite a little force of nature; always playing, exploring and coming up with mischief together.

Shiro and Jones’s bond grew even stronger as they grew and developed together into happy, active, curious kittens.

“They are very much a bonded pair, and are the best brothers,” Uyehara said in an interview with Love Meow.

Because of their special bond, Uyehara did not wish to separate them.

She’d never want to do anything to cause either Shrio or Jones any pain, and so she was determined to find them a shared forever home.

Once the kittens were old enough, Uyehara started looking for their perfect family.

It can be tricky to find a family who’s willing to adopt two kittens in one go, but the sweet brothers were in luck.

The rescue managed to find them a perfect family who were excited to adopt both brothers and give them a great home.

Now, Shiro and Jones will get to continue to explore the world, enjoy life and grow up together – all while being loved and cared for by their new family.

These little guys have proved that as long as they’re together, there’s nothing they can’t handle, and we’re sure they’re going to have a long and exciting life filled with love and happiness.
