Student Designs A Faucet That Swirls Water Into Mesmerizing Patterns While Saving The Planet

It’s not easy to see new designs of everyday objects that combine both beauty and usefulness.
Simin Qiu, a London’s Royal College of Art student, managed to create a product that differs from everything we’ve seen before.
He designed a faucet that swirls water into incredibly beautiful and intricate patterns, while saving up to 15% of water compared with traditional faucets.

As soon as you tap on the faucet’s top, you’ll see dozens of small jets of water swirling into incredibly articulate yet well-ordered designs that look everything but water coming out of a faucet.

Qiu’s idea won the the iF Design concept award of its category, and we frankly can’t wait to have it installed at home.
