Rescue Piglet And Kitten Become Best Friends, And Their Photos Are Just Adorable

Laura the piglet and Marina the kitten first met at the Santuario Igualdad Interespecie, an interspecies equality sanctuary for farm animals in Santiago, Chile.

Marina was abandoned by her mother because she was sick, weak, and had pus-filled eyes. If no one helped her, Marina would have likely died. Fortunately, a kind-hearted individual brought her to the Chilean sanctuary, saving her life.

Laura’s mother is a breeder pig, and Laura was born so that she could be slaughtered. However, activists rescued her from the meat industry.

When Laura arrived at the sanctuary, she was trembling with fear.

Marina and Laura were rescued just a few days apart from each other. When Laura met Marina, Marina helped her relax and calm down.

Today, Marina the kitten and Laura the piglet have built on their immediate friendship.

They sleep close to each other, cuddle, and give each other a lot of hugs and kisses. Even when one of them is sleeping, the other one plays, waiting for their friend to wake up.

They found comfort in each other, and share the most unlikely and beautiful of friendships, especially when you consider how different they are.

Below, you can check out photos as well as a video of the darling duo.
