These Parents Tattooed Their Legs With Daughter’s Birthmark. The Reason They Did It? So Inspiring!

If you are a parent, I know you would literally do everything for your kids, but the story of these two British parents really left me without words.

Honey-Rae Phillips is a sweet 18-month-old child born with a birthmark that now occupies almost half of her right side.

Unfortunately we don’t live in a perfect world, and we all know that people can be really mean and insensitive at times.

The first time Honey-Rae wore her shorts last summer her parents Adam and Tanya noticed an old couple whispering to themselves and staring at the baby’s birthmark.

What Tanya and Adam decided to do so Honey-Rae won’t feel different is just amazing: they decided to get their legs tattooed to match their daughter’s birthmark.

The first time Honey-Rae saw the tattoo “she gently touched it and smiled as she said ‘Match,’ pointing to her own leg. If I’d have needed any reassurance that I’d made the right decision that was it” Tanya told the Mirror.

These two loving parents just want to make their daughter feel special, proud of her birthmark and not ashamed of it, and we are sure that with Tanya and Adam by her side she will always feel more than loved.

Here are Adam, Honey-Rae and Tanya, with their matching birthmark and tattoos.

They didn’t want her to feel different, but special instead.

“From the moment she was born, we told Honey-Rae she was beautiful and constantly covered her in kisses.”
