Guadalajara based artist Ricardo Solis is the author of the imaginative illustrations you will see in this post.

His work has been showcased in several exhibitions nationally and internationally and his work is in major collections. From a young age attracted to art and nature, now as a professional artist tries to express in his work the beauty and perfection of both.

The artworks we feature here are beautiful illustrations of tiny men literally creating the beautiful animals that populate our planet in a very unique way, such as using ribbons to create a zebra’s stripes, using an air pump to give a hippo its “round” shape or even purring red dye to color a flamingo.

If you appreciate Ricardo’s work, take a minute to look at his portfolio on Behance.

If you like this post, don’t be selfish, share it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter.
