Histagrams, what if history was posted on Instagram?

Every now and then a new trend pops up on the web and we’ve covered some of them in the past. This time the idea comes from two designers, Gavin Alaoen and Gusto NYC: they’ve created Histagrams, a website where they imagine what history would have looked like if its protagonists used Instagram.

We are featuring below our favorite picks and among them you will find a Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa sneak peek, a Lincoln’s selfie, an Armstrong’s Instagram directly from the moon and many others.
One of the fun sides of these Histagrams is that no matters if the various people featured lived two hundred years ago, they are portrayed writing with the nowadays teenage slang.
What’s your favorite Histagram?
