This Hilarious Winter Prank Is Driving Minnesota Crazy

Minnesota winters are long and extra chilly, enough to freeze one’s ears off. The cold lingers throughout the whole month of January at a few degrees above zero. With that being said, it’s no wonder how someone could end up with a random prank just to keep the people entertained in the midst of the crazy cold winter. The prank gets as randomly hilarious as freezing pairs of jeans and placing them outside coffee shops and near parking meters. The process involves soaking the jeans in water and hanging them in the cold to sculpt them as they freeze. The prank has obviously gone viral and was made famous by Tom Grotting who has been doing such ritual since the Polar Vortex of 2013. As a result of the humorous fame, people in Northeast Minneapolis have also been freezing their pants, emulating this hilarious idea.
