Do you ever take a walk and find somebody has dumped some trash on the side of the road and ran away unpunished?
This is exactly what happened to Mr. Tomlinson, from Queensland, Australia. The only difference from what usually happens is that Tomlinson tried to clean the area with the help of a friend, and between a fish tank, plastic bags and books he found an incredible amount of informations about the illegal dumper, including a photo ID and his home address.
What they did next is probably everybody’s dream in these occasions, they drove to the illegal dumper’s house and gave back the trash to the original owner by dropping it in front of his house.
“We just assumed it must have bounced out of his truck so we returned it to its rightful owner” he later told NTNews, “My idea was to let him clean it up himself and avoid a fine while letting him know people don’t want that kind of behaviour.”.
