A submarine emerges from the ground in the center of Milan

Yesterday at 8 in the morning a big surprise astonished Milan citizens, as a submarine emerged from the ground in the center of the city in via Mercanti, just a few meters far from the Duomo, the city’s cathedral.
The capitan of the submarine #LF13 got lost during the maneuvers, and in the first TV interviews he says he’s so sorry about the damage he caused. He also crashed a car during the process. Passers-by cannot believe their eyes…
Police and firefighters came to help securing the area.
All that is hard to believe, in fact it’s just a publicity stunt created by Milan based agency M&C Saatchi for the insurance company Europe Assistance, part of the launch campaign for their LifePark Protection store.

We don’t know how long the submarine will remain in town, but for sure it’s fun to see such a scene in the middle on an European city. If you plan to visit Milan in the next days, remember to pass and take a look at the submarine, in via Mercanti.

You can view below some photos of the crash and the videos of the campaign.
