Beauty brand Benefit Cosmetics just signed its new brand ambassador, Kate Grant. The 20-year-old, who comes from Northern Ireland, is a model with Down Syndrome, and she was chosen as the brand’s beauty ambassador because one of the photos she shared on her Instagram profile, tagging Benefit Cosmetics, got an impressive feedback on Benefit’s Instagram page.
Grant has quite a modeling experience already. She was hailed as the champion in the Teen Ultimate Beauty of the World Pageant, she’s been one of the catwalk models at the Belfast Fashion Week, and she even had a TV appearance at the ITV show called ‘This Morning’.
According to Grant, being a beauty ambassador will help her spread awareness about the importance of inclusion for people with disabilities like her, and will help them not being defined by their disability. This is only the beginning of Grant’s modeling career, and with such a strong attitude, we are sure we’ll hear about her in the future.

Meet Benefit Cosmetics’ new brand ambassador.

The brand just signed 20-year-old Kate Grant.

Grant is a model from Northern Ireland with Down Syndrome.

She has been the champion of Teen Ultimate Beauty of the World Pageant and walked the runway at the Belfast Fashion Week.

Grant tagged Benefit in a foto on her Instagram, and it got some impressive feedback.

It’s a great opportunity for Grant to inspire a lot of young women who also have Down Syndrome.

She wants to use her voice to spread awareness on inclusion for people with disabilities.

Grant being a beauty ambassador will definitely pave the way for other models with Down Syndrome to find success in the modeling industry.

This is only the beginning of Grant’s modeling career.

Grant does not want Down’s Syndrome to define her. She is just Kate.
